Rap legend and Home Makeover Expert Vanilla Ice Partners with BrandStar Studios to Launch “The Vanilla Ice Home Show”

Fort Lauderdale, FL. (Dec. 7, 2021) – Vanilla Ice is back to renovating homes on TV, and his newest concept promises to bring instantaneous results using the latest in virtual, augmented and mixed-reality technology, all in real-time.

Vanilla Ice has partnered with BrandStar Studios, who recently completed a multi-million upgrade to its studios, allowing them to provide the newest, most cutting-edge technologies in the world of production.

Ice is joined by his longtime construction partner, Wes Kain, with the goal of finding inspiration from high-end celebrity homes, and scaling them down to a more approachable level. From fabulous kitchens, stunning bathrooms and spectacular closets, to dazzling pools and landscaping, Ice will be joined by a celebrity homeowner and expert to guide them through the magnificence of the space.

Once they gather enough intel and inspiration, Ice will embark on a futuristic mission to re-create the space for the “everyday” person keeping realistic budgets in mind.

The “how” is what will make this home renovation show a first-of-its-kind. BrandStar’s Catapult Productions division, the show’s producers, will be placing Ice and his team in the “Lab,” a large LED volume (screen) which displays the “shell” of the space previously visited.

At that point, the renovation will start appearing in augmented reality, with Ice describing how the various elements of the upscale home – whether kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or other space – can be recreated in someone’s home at a reduced cost.

Vanilla Ice, who is a professional designer and builder, is no stranger to home renovation shows, having starred in “The Vanilla Ice Project” for ten seasons. The new show brings him and his beloved crew back, but with the goals of making spectacular home renovations achievable to everyone.
